ASHLI AGATE
CEO, PRODUCER
Ashli Agate is a dynamic media producer and storyteller with a passion for creating bold, culturally resonant content. With a strong foundation in studio management and production coordination, she has developed a reputation for seamlessly merging creative vision with production strategy.
Ashli refined her technical expertise through an intensive VFX Compositing program at CEE Toronto and a Film Production & Video Design program George Brown College. Her skills span across VFX, budgeting, scheduling, team leadership, and full-cycle project management—from concept to delivery.
Ashli Agate is the founder of Operation X, a production initiative dedicated to amplifying emerging voices and developing original IP with bold, socially resonant storytelling. Most recently, she produced the proof of concept for her original TV series, Nuns of Gabriel—a genre-bending supernatural horror-drama exploring themes of faith, power, and identity. The project, greenlit by OBAC, earned Ashli one of six $10K production grants awarded from a cohort of twelve participants. This milestone reflects her strength in steering complex productions while maintaining creative integrity, and marks a significant step in her evolution as both a creative and business-minded producer.
Ashli is also the founder of cllctv space, a grassroots organization supporting underrepresented voices in film through mentorships and hands-on workshops. Her training in Film & TV finance—through CBC and CMPA-backed programs—gives her a strategic advantage, allowing her to navigate both the artistic and commercial sides of the industry with confidence.
