Amber Bettencourt brings a strong foundation in screenwriting and creative development to her role as Head of Development at Operation X. A graduate of Toronto Film School and Yorkville University with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Arts, she specializes in developing and refining scripted content for a variety of mediums.

Currently, Amber leads the development of Nuns of Gabriel as the senior writer, where she collaborates with the Showrunner and oversees junior writers to create the 10 -episode series. Her experience extends to contributing to numerous film projects, including a submission to the WILDsound Horror Shorts Festival, and managing multi-writer teams to deliver high-quality narrative content on tight timelines.

In her role at Operation X, Amber is responsible for overseeing creative project pipelines, evaluating new concepts, and aligning production strategies with the company’s growth objectives. Her leadership ensures that Operation X remains at the forefront of developing innovative, audience-focused content.
